Working Ranch Infrastructure

The Stagecoach encompasses 525.71 deeded acres anchored by productive hay ground. Combined with two active BLM grazing allotments totaling 26,357 acres, the overall operation commands a rare footprint in the Colorado high country. The Race Path Allotment covers 6,522 acres carrying 87 cattle with 479 active AUMs, while the Big Hole Allotment spans 19,835 acres supporting 178 cattle and 1,068 active AUMs. Both allotments run October through March. Twelve numbered springs on BLM land further support the allotments, in combination with Texas Creek and the Arkansas River, providing natural water distribution across the range without the cost or maintenance of hauled water. Combined with the ranch's working fencing, corrals, handling facilities, and established hay ground, the Stagecoach is fully equipped to run a serious cow-calf or stocker operation from day one.
